Karen and Tate are back! All levels of dancers, please join us for:
EXPLORING VALS
Vals is one of the family of Argentine Tango socialdances. Waltz rhythm and the feel of more turning and fluid movement makes Vals feel unique, even as we easily transfer much of our Tango vocabulary.
All four workshops and the milonga will be at the DeRail Zone (717 Winona).
Saturday, March 3
1. Musicality for Vals (1pm to 2:30pm): From basics to bemusing
2. Feeling Vals (3:00pm to 4:30pm): Cadence in movement
Milonga Saturday night! 8pm to midnight
Sunday, March 4
3. Turning in Vals (2:00pm to 3:30pm): Vocabulary to keep that flowing feeling
4. Soltadas for Vals (4:00pm to 5:30pm): Fun and fancy, swirly and sweet
Pricing for all four workshops and a milonga: $90 for KATS members, $100 for non-members. Individual classes: $25 each. Milonga only: $10. Scholarships are available; contact KATS for details. Beginners are welcome!

Tango Musicality (7:00pm to 9:00pm) at Hollingsworth Auditorium, UT Please note that this event is sponsored by VolTango and must be paid separately. At $5 for students, $10 for faculty/staff, and $15 for community members, this is a bargain!
